Lower Ball Joints Won't Come Out!!!

My front end lower ball joints will not come out no matter what I do. Is there a trick? I used the fork to break the knuckle loose, but the ball joint is IN the lower control arm and WILL NOT BUDGE ME SO ANGRY. Is there some kind of tool to Press it out? I looked at the new one and it has a spline. What is the trick? I would be so happy to find out.
